Additional
information about access to our detoxification services:
- the unit serves both
male and female adult clients;
- all interested
clients are first assessed for suitability for our non-medical
program;
- all incoming clients
must provide a MSP Medical Clearance form completed in detail by
their physician;
- all incoming clients are expected to bring
sufficient medications for the entirety of their stay (it is
recommended that medication be bubble packed and limited to the amount
required for one’s stay in Detox);
- once all necessary
intake information and paperwork is provided by the client, an
appointment for full intake will be given - this will usually
occur within 12 to 48 hours, but can vary dependant upon demand;
- all incoming clients
must agree to adhere to all house rules while in
residence;
- all incoming clients
must agree to submit to drug use testing while in residence
within the unit.
Main Street
Project's detox unit is not a treatment program. Our experienced
staff will work to support each client in establishing a plan of
action suitable to their needs. Duration of stay can vary dependant
upon the clients' individual circumstances.
