Our
emergency shelter operates 365 days a year, providing safe, supervised
overnight shelter for individuals in need.
Access
to this service is open to adults only, male and female.

Additional
information about our shelter services:
- the emergency
shelter operates between the hours of 7:00 pm and 6:15 am, 365
days a year;
- the shelter
can sleep up to 58 people per night;
- shelter
is provided with no up front costs to clients.
Van Patrol
In conjunction
with our shelter services, Main Street Project operates a nightly
van patrol. Our van monitors the streets and alleys of Winnipeg's
downtown between the hours of 12:30 am and 3:30 am, seeking out
persons at risk in the community. Clients are then transported
to shelter, alternative safe places, or alternate arrangements
are made with other service providers to intervene.
