Learn how you can support Socktober

Welcome to Main Street Project

Serving the needs of Winnipeg’s most vulnerable residents since 1972, Main Street Project offers programming and services to help our community members build stability. Working under a housing first philosophy, we work with each individual to support positive changes and transition them towards stable, permanent housing.

Support Ash’s Closet

Ashley Tokaruk was a truly special person and volunteer whose compassion left a lasting mark on our community. Ashley touched the heart of every person she met. Her presence was a gift to all and she is greatly missed. In honour of Ashley’s philosophy of acceptance, care, and love for all, her family launched a fundraiser to help transform an empty space into an inclusive clothing centre for the community – Ash’s Closet.
