Food Bank Reopening

Help Us Refill the Shelves

Main Street Project’s Food Bank & Essentials Market will officially reopen on May 28 following a temporary closure due to renovations after the Manwin Hotel fire. As we prepare to welcome the community back, we need your help to make this reopening a success.

Across Main Street Project, our small but mighty Food & Nutrition Services team provides over 1,650 meals every day, and our food bank serves 150–180 individuals and families each week.

To help us reopen with our shelves stocked and ready, we are currently seeking non-perishable food and essential item donations. Suggested donations include canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter, baby formula, hygiene products, feminine hygiene products, and other pantry staples. Community members can also refer to our Amazon Wishlist as a guide for our most-needed items
