Main Street Project (MSP) is pleased to announce that Mount Carmel Clinic (MCC) has agreed to second MCC’s Executive Director, Bobbette Shoffner, to MSP as Interim Executive Director effective Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Bobbette, supported by the MCC Senior Management team, will serve a dual Executive Director role for both organizations until a permanent Executive Director is recruited for MSP.
Bobbette Shoffner has extensive experience in the health services sector with over 12 years of service at MCC including almost 10 years as the Executive Director. Bobbette has a great deal of experience with transitional teams and environments and believes that client centred care is key in developing and delivering programs and services. She also feels non-judgmental, empowering approaches to service delivery are very important.
The addition of Bobbette to MSP’s management team at this time will assist MSP’s senior managers with the very heavy workload and responsibilities associated with COVID-19 and other important matters.
The recruitment process for a permanent Executive Director for MSP is well underway and it is expected that the position will be filled within the next two to three months.
