Within our Withdrawal Management Services, Main Street Project goes the extra mile to ensure your well-being. A key element of our commitment is the regular presence of a dedicated Nurse Practitioner on the unit, providing invaluable support and care. Twice a week, this highly skilled professional brings their expertise to Riverpoint Centre for Women and Non-Binary Participants and at 75 Martha for Male and Non-Binary Participants. This proactive approach ensures that your journey through non-medical detox is safe and overseen by a compassionate healthcare professional who is here to address your needs and guide you toward a successful recovery. Case Manager Support
In our commitment to comprehensive care, Main Street Project’s Withdrawal Management Services establishes care beyond the initial step of attending MSP Withdrawal Management Services. By recognizing that the journey to recovery involves more than just the initial withdrawal, we have a dedicated Case Manager on-site in each area. These professionals play a crucial role in supporting you towards achieving long-term treatment goals. Beyond MSP detox, they provide personalized assistance and facilitate connections to resources that can pave the way for sustained recovery. Whether it’s through individual counseling, group sessions, or specialized programs, our Case Workers are here to guide you toward a future filled with hope and possibility.
Indigenous Support
At Main Street Project’s Withdrawal Management Services, we are proud to embrace Truth and Reconciliation on the path to recovery. By recognizing the importance of cultural connection in the healing process, we are honoured to have a Skabe on-site at each WMS location. A dedicated team member, the Skabe provides Indigenous cultural support and cultural ceremonies. The Skabe brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of Indigenous traditions, fostering a culturally sensitive and respectful environment for our participants. Through ceremonies, discussions, and tailored support, Skabe contributes to an experience that acknowledges and celebrates Indigenous culture. At Main Street Project, we believe in the power of cultural connection as an integral part of the recovery journey, and the Skabe is here to ensure that every participant feels seen, heard, and supported on their path to wellness.
Transgender and Non-Binary Support
At Main Street Project’s Withdrawal Management Services, inclusivity is at the heart of our mission. In line with our commitment to providing a safe and affirming space for everyone, Riverpoint Centre offers two dedicated beds to support a gender-diverse and accepting living space for 2SLGBTQIA+ community members. We recognize and respect the unique needs of individuals in this community and strive to ensure that our accommodations and services are tailored to provide comfort and support.
Your well-being matters, and at Main Street Project, we wish to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and understood on their personal journey. If you have any questions or concerns related to inclusivity on the unit, we encourage you to discuss this with our intake worker when scheduling your admission.
